The RSS112A and RSS113A are compact, high-performance radio devices and conform to GMDSS requirements. These products feature transmission/reception functions, a digital selective calling (DSC) function, DSC watch-keeping (WR) function, and narrow-band direct printing telex (NBDP) function to provide communication by telephone, telex, DSC, and NBDP.
All GMDSS functions can be easily controlled by the MH/HF controller. Up to 2 controller units can be installed.
The antenna matching unit features a fully automatic tuning function. Once tuned, the matching
data is memorized in the unit. After that, automatic matching is performed simply by setting the transmission frequency.
Frequency setting during operation is made easily by presetting coastal station frequency data for each route in the station table.
Scheduled communications can be arranged in all communication modes. Available modes are
"Daily" mode, to schedule communication for a fixed time every day, and "Date" mode, to specify
a date and time.
The RSS113A MF/HF-400 W radio equipment can transmit at 150 W in the unlikely event that either the power amp unit or the power supply unit for the power amp fails.
Periodic diagnostic testing with the aid of self-diagnostic functions assures safe operation. These diagnostic functions also help you detect malfunctioning pads during troubleshooting.
